Wikileaks cracking under pressure?

Bloggers have been accusing Wikileaks that it had cut a deal before. If that is the case, is WL cracking under pressure from al jazeera crowd?

WikiLeaks to publish 'sensitive' Israel cables

Assange said WikiLeaks had 3,700 US documents on Israel, including 2,700 originating from the Jewish state, but denied the website had any agreement in place to spare the country of leaks.

"We do not have any secret deals with any country," he said according to an Arabic translation of remarks he made in English which were posted on Al-Jazeera's website.

"We do not have any direct or indirect contacts with the Israelis," Assange is quoted as saying, adding no more than two percent of available documents on Israel have been released so far.

Some of Israel's neighbours, most notably Turkey, have expressed unease at the lack of leaks the whistleblowing website has released on the Jewish state.

To add some perspective from the Middle East: Since the Wikileaks phenomenon started, Arabic media has been wondering where's the catch, because it seems to be leaking dirt on everyone except Israel.

I actually spoke to someone who believed the Wikileaks is part of a bigger conspiracy to heat things up between Saudi Arabia and Iran to the benefit of Israel (I have no idea how he comes to that conclusion, though).

He said these cables would be released over next six months. CIA task force that was just formed to handle WL would probably have their mechanisms shutdown way before that.

Well, very few of the documents have been released as yet. What has been released is being ignored by the media for the most part, Including the Mafia ties to the Israeli Government. Yes that was released and then ignored.

Most of the releases don't really show anything new, but only confirm things that were known or suspected.

It does seem to me that Saudi Arabia and the Israelis are on a parallel course.
It might be interesting if some future release show a more intimate relationship.

Time will tell. Lots more documents to see.
