We came in second, fine, but:

But we lost HUGE compared to Romney.

It's real simple, a full 45% of Republican voters were OVER 60 YEARS OLD! Didn't ANYBODY see that!

Look, this internet stuff is nice and everything, but the MAIN THING we must start doing is going to old folks's homes, churches, bingo, WHATEVER will get older people to vote for Ron Paul.

We can actually DROP everything and concentrate on 50 years and UP voters and we can win this election. We've got the young vote. Let's pry them off the keyboard and start canvassing old people. They will love Ron Paul if you explain it to them.

This is my strategy from now on.

In your replies, could you make a list of where older people would most likely receive Ron Paul's message?

And.......27% of the population are Latter Day Saints......Mormon....Hello?

Your right though.... the old folks don't surf like the youth.....they need door to door!

Ron Paul wants to phase our social security. Even though that wouldn't affect any old person already on social security - they get easily scared.

there was no cheating. Stop this conspiracy stuff.

It's simply totally inept campaign management.

We need older Republicans on our side that have run previous elections. These guys know where to get the old vote.

RonRules, you are ABSOLUTELY right. LOTS of old people in my precinct today - some of them quite grumpy too I might add!

I just heard on msnbc that romney got half of his votes from mormons.

Surely they dont vote for him because of his religion

I believe Ron Paul isn't against social security he wants an opt out option for people is all.

Too bad most the members of my church aren't smart enough to see through the Romney facade. LDS people voted for Romney because he is LDS, the same way New Hampshire people went for McCain, because he's the kind of guy they'd like to hang out with over a micro brew.

Romney clearly cheated! All his votes came from across the state line from Utah.

Source of proof?

If correct, that's voter fraud, and you have to blame it on the people who came across state lines to do so. Nobody was forcing them at gunpoint to get on buses or hop in their cars. Those people cheated. America has barely any semblance of character and morality left.

i think the cheating comment was tongue in cheek. Agreed we need to get the message out to older GOP voters...i think invoking the Reagan legacy might be helpful with that.

old people like it when young people pay attention to them.

all you have to say is inflation is going to hurt fixed income people the most. and ron paul is NOT planning on leaving anyone in the cold.

Ron Paul has never voted to spend a single dollar from Social Security. Tell them this. You might also tell them that the only way they will see the Social Security they deserve is if we pull back from our unconstitutional wars overseas.

what ever happened to wisdom with age? When did that go out the window?

Your stereotype is a little off. I'm 62 years old, retired, and live on the internet. Bet I'm not the only one, either.
