I think it's something like a superstitious response: something happens; something else happens after; therefore the first thing causes the second. It is basically confusing correlation with causation.Is there still hope for them, or are they are too far indoctrinated ?

Cause people don't look into history at all. Hell even in my history classes (history major in my last 2 classes for my BA) I have had people surprise me with their lack of knowledge of history.![]()
