A few years ago before I knew anything about politics I wrote a letter addressing my concerns with the current child support system and their total disregard for single fathers who actually take responsibility for their children.
Among my concerns were the custodial parent receiving excessive amounts of support without having to account for where all of these funds are going, tax breaks for the custodial parent while the non custodial parent is required to pay several thousand dollars a year in support and receives zero tax credit, etc ect. basicaly the entire system is a joke and needs an overhaul.
Anyway, like I said I knew nothing about politics and just randomly picked a rep to e-mail my letter to. I lived in Duval county (jacksonville) and the one I chose was Corrine Brown, because I recognized her name, huge mistake. Of course I never received any type of response and knowing what I know now, she's the last person I would ever contact with any type of concern.
that being said, I need to resubmit my letter to a Ron Paul type of representative.
Could anyone give me some suggestions on who I should contact, perhaps someone who will actually address my concerns?
