So... just an observation, particularly as the national delegate selection process moves forward...
The only Romney supporters I've personally spoken with are not very enthusiastic on their candidate. It seems they've chosen him in the same way that someone who hates mexican food chooses the hamburger off the menu because they are eating at a mexican restaurant with their friends. They say things like, "Romney's not a real conservative, but he's better than Obama." And they show all the passion of someone choosing curtains for their mother-in-law's dining room windows.
Whereas your typical Ron Paul supporter would jump through hoops of fire if it would get RP just one more delegate to Tampa.
In my experience, the groups that get things done at party conventions are the ones who passionately believe in what they are doing. Now, there are some Romney hawks that seem to think the Ron Paul republicans are a threat to the GOP (foolishness; they should know we are it's salvation). But then they are counting on people being passionate about a negative stereotype.
So... who will cheer loudly and gleefully for Mitt Romney? Has anyone actually met another human being who believes Romney is the greatest thing since sliced bread and can't wait to campaign for him?
