Fuck's sake, even O-Bomb-Ya didn't get this stupid about oil and domestic drilling.

We have the capacity, the reserves, the infrastructure and the technology to provide stable pricing, steady production, plentiful energy products all from domestic sources.

There is no reason to be beholden to any foreign powers for US energy needs.

Unless there are deliberate "America Last" government policies put into place to make that happen.

Ones like Biden put in place within days of taking office.

White House Blames OPEC for Energy Prices Joe Biden Made Higher

His Fraudulency Joe Biden is blaming high energy prices on people of color instead of himself, even though he’s worked overtime to increase prices on everything, most especially energy.

From the far-left AP, which naturally omits all the ways Biden increased America’s energy prices:

President Joe Biden’s administration is raising alarms at home and abroad about rising energy prices slowing the nation’s recovery from the pandemic-induced recession.

National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan on Wednesday called on the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries to move faster to restore global supply of petroleum to pre-pandemic levels, as the White House asked the Federal Trade Commission to investigate the domestic gasoline market for any anti-competitive behavior that could be increasing prices.

The joint actions Wednesday come as the Biden administration is increasingly sensitive to rising prices across the economy as it faces both political and policy pressure from inflation.

So Biden’s blaming all the brown people at OPEC for this, and not himself for shutting down a crucial pipeline, not himself for killing exploration and drilling leases, not himself for alienating crucial oil exporter Saudi Arabia, not himself for spending like a lunatic, which cheapens the dollar and creates inflation — and right now Americans are suffering from record inflation.

No, no, no, the culprit isn’t Biden; it’s all those brown people over there.

Here’s the official statement from the White House, which is a pathetic mix of groveling and scapegoating:

What’s especially laughable is this part, “[His Fraudulency] Biden has made clear he wants Americans to have access to affordable and reliable energy.” That is a total lie coming from a guy doing everything in his power to increase energy prices.

“Reliable” is also a lie, as we’ve seen in California with the move towards green energy, something Biden wholeheartedly backs.

The statement also makes clear the White House knows this “recovery” is in serious trouble.

The Biden White House repeatedly reassured Americans there was no gas shortage in the United States after the Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack. Hmmmmm! https://t.co/nkBJF9Kgyp

You know, Americans shouldn’t have to worry about what OPEC does and doesn’t do. America is richer than rich with natural resources, and there is no reason why we should have to kneel before OPEC whenever our gas prices explode, which they have under Biden, to the tune of a dollar a gallon. This country could be oil-rich in five to ten years, swimming in it, but Democrats and the organized left simply refuse to allow that to happen.

Let me tell you; it’s tough out there. The wife and I just returned from a month-long camping trip through eight states and never saw a gas price below $2.87. In Chicago, it was $3.50 and up. A jump in gas prices is a brutal tax, especially on working people and the poor, and with cold weather just a couple of months away, it’s only going to get worse.

And all Joe’s doing about it is yelling at brown people.

Another hindrance to the “recovery”is and will be this ongoing anti-science freak-out over the coronavirus. Already, a ton of economic activity is shutting down. New Orleans just killed its Jazz Festival, other concerts are being canceled, movies are being pulled… These cancellations not only reduce economic activity, they also create panic, which drives people indoors, which reduces economic activity.

The Biden gas crisis continues to rock working class Americans at the pump. A gas station in Los Angeles sold fuel for nearly $6 per gallon on Memorial Day weekend, as fuel prices continued to soar across the nation. https://t.co/lhmdpuEud0

Based on what we know right now, all of this panic is based on the fake news that “breakthrough” infections are a serious threat to the vaccinated when the CDC’s own math proves they are not. Of course, those numbers could change (for the worse or the better), but based on the information available, there is no reason why life can’t go on as normal.

And if the “breakthrough” numbers do get worse, it will only be because Biden completely blew the rollout of the China Flu vaccine.

Biden is stepping all over his own economic recovery, the one that began under Trump, so he’s desperately looking for scapegoats like OPEC and the unvaccinated.

Fuck fucking you, you commie cocksucker.

Never worked an honest day in your whole miserable life, and now you and Comrade Bernie are going to put me in jail for providing the lifeblood of the country and economy.

You gonna put OPEC leaders in jail too, you miserable maggot?

Fuck you Joe Biden.

Biden White House: We Are Not Trying to Increase Domestic Oil Production to Lower Gas Prices

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/...-domestic-oil-production-to-lower-gas-prices/

The White House acknowledged Wednesday that President Joe Biden was not trying to increase domestic oil production to help lower gas prices in the United States.

During the White House daily briefing, Bloomberg reporter Josh Wingrove asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki whether Biden was considering ways to increase domestic oil production, after sending a public letter to OPEC nations to increase production of foreign oil.

“The point we have made in these communications is that we’re not making a supply question here — or we’re not posing a supply question domestically,” she said. “Obviously, OPEC has its own unique role on the global marketplace.”

Psaki argued that gas prices were higher than they were in 2020 but still around normal.

“Now, gas prices are still aligned with where they were back in 2018,” she said, adding that “they often go up in the summer; we’ve seen that trend over and over again.”

The price of gas has skyrocketed since prices dipped during the 2020 summer during the coronavirus pandemic.

New inflation numbers released on Wednesday showed the cost of gas up 41.8 percent from July 2020.

The Biden administration tasked National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan to urge OPEC nations to increase their production.

“The price of crude oil has been higher than it was at the end of 2019, before the onset of the pandemic,” he wrote in a statement released Wednesday morning, warning that “unchecked” gas costs could risk the global economic recovery.

Biden also delivered a mixed message on gas prices, noting that “gas prices are lower than they were early in this decade.”

“I want to make sure that nothing stands in the way of oil price declines leading to lower prices for consumers,” he said during a speech at the White House on Wednesday afternoon.

He signaled his administration would monitor the gasoline market to make sure there was not “any illegal conduct” keeping prices high.

Biden also noted that his child tax credit for families would help Americans suffering from the high prices at the pump.

“These are some of the immediate steps we are taking to put more money in your pocket and make that money go further,” he said.

Republicans mocked the White House struggle to address higher gas prices, noting that the Biden administration closed the Keystone pipeline and put a moratorium on new oil and gas leases on federal lands.

“President Biden canceled an American pipeline on Day One. Seven months later, he is now begging OPEC to pump more oil,” wrote House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on social media. “We could have been more energy independent. We could have developed it cleaner. And with American workers. But Biden would rather put America last.”

Biden Took America from ‘Energy Dominance’ to Being ‘Held Hostage’ by OPEC for Oil

https://www.breitbart.com/radio/202...inance-to-being-held-hostage-by-opec-for-oil/

Robert Kraychik 12 Aug 2021

Former Interior Secretary of the Department of the Interior Ryan Zinke told Breitbart News on Thursday that the Biden administration took America from “energy dominance” to being “held hostage by foreign entities for our energy needs.”

“Yesterday, the Biden administration asked OPEC to produce more energy,” Zinke said on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow. “The America First policy was pretty clear, it’s called energy dominance.”

Zinke added, “America went from [producing] 8.3 million barrels a day — and declining — to 12.5 million and rising [during the Trump administration. We became the largest producer of energy … in the world. Now we’re asking our foreign allies — sometimes adversaries — to produce more energy when we have it here.”

On Wednesday, the White House asked the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to increase crude oil production. The Biden administration cancelled the Keystone XL Pipeline’s cross-border permit issued by former President Donald Trump. The mostly built pipeline was intended to transfer crude oil from Western Canada’s oilsands to the U.S. for storage and refining. The Biden administration, Democrat Party, and broader left regularly frame fossil fuel consumption as a driver of “global warming” and “climate change.”

The U.S. became a net energy exporter during President Donald Trump’s tenure. “In 2019, total U.S. energy exports were greater than total energy imports, and the United States became a net total energy exporter for the first time since 1952,” noted the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Zinke stated, “[Trump] put the United States in a position where we were not held hostage and we didn’t have to ask OPEC to produce more energy.” He said the Biden administration is in lockstep with “crazy environmentalists.”

“Environmentally, it is better to produce energy in this country under reasonable regulation than watching it get produced overseas with no regulation,” Zinke remarked.

The White House’s ostensible environmental policies compromise national security by increasing U.S. dependence on foreign sources of energy, Zinke noted. “The Biden administration cancels the Keystone [Pipeline], but supports Russian pipeline. This policy is anti-American, and it puts the nation at greater risk as farther national security goes.”

He remarked, “Why would we position ourselves to be beholden to foreign entities on our energy needs? In the Trump administration, energy dominance was not just oil and gas, it was across the board — it was wind, it was solar — to put the United States in a position where we’re not held hostage and we don’t have to ask OPEC to produce more energy. This is nuts.”

Zinke is running for election to to represent Montana’s 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Unless there are deliberate "America Last" government policies put into place to make that happen.

There is. Destroy America for a global crony kleptocracy.

Seems if I remember correctly the more energy we produced the lower opec prices were. trying to make it to expensive for us to produce oil..... so let’s slow US production and ask opec to produce more to lower the prices when,, we can just do it ourselves... I’m so confused

I saw that and I had hoped somebody would post the full response.

Look here, you numb fucking cunt, if you people had not shot US oil production in the face, literally on your first day in office, WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT OPEC PRICE FIXING AND CARTEL REDUCTIONS IN PRODUCTION!

We (meaning me and millions of people like me, working in oil and gas exploration and production) had achieved what all of you have said, my whole fucking life, was impossible: complete US energy independence.

And in less than a year's time, you have fucked that up like a snake in a lawnmower.

On purpose.

Fuck fucking you, and everybody like you.

ETA - And just where in this broad's curriculum vitae does it indicate that she is in any way is qualified to run the Dept. of Energy?

A foreign flag cocksucker from Canada whose formal training is a BA from Berserkly of all goddamn places and a law degree from Harvard (even worse).

A "career" of politics, law, and as a CNN talking head followed.

I came here to ask this question at the risk of seeming foolish and naive because I knew I would get a straight answer from people who are knowledgeable about such matters. Please be kind as I am sincere in asking.

Could it be that part of the reason for canceling oil production here, creating a need to purchase oil from the OPEC nations, would be to send some of these dollars being pumped into the economy overseas to advert at least some inflation here buying time to keep progressives on board until they could implement more of their agenda?

I am not knowledgeable concerning matters such as this, and it may stem from a desire to create a populace totally dependent on the government, thereby creating control or maybe outside influences and pressures were applied, but for some reason the thought crossed my mind, it may have no validity.

Thank you for your time.

It stands to reason. We've certainly fought enough wars to force oil producing nations to accept only the petrodollar in payment, in order to create more demand so the Fed could print more with less devaluation.

It won't prevent the value from dropping, but might delay it, or they could think it might delay it.

There are other possibilities, too. They seem determined to throw us all out of work, for example. There could even be less self destructive motives, like saving some of our energy for after the rest of the world tells us to get stuffed. But you may well be onto something.

Thanks, it's hard to sift through what we are feed to come up with logical solutions for their actions. Most conclusions I can come up with for their actions would be seen as conspiracy theories to most people.

This, too, just might have something to do with it.
