There are several planned money bombs on the way. This poll is to find out which of them, if any, have the most support.

December 31st -- end of year money bomb
Goal: reach $20 million for the quarter

January 21st -- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Goal: 100,000 pledges for $100

http://freeatlast2008.com/

February 3rd -- 95th anniversary of 16th amendment
Goal: 30,000 pledges for $500

http://www.libertytax08.com/

Ron Paul Money Bomb weekly money bombs
Goal: 1,500 supporters giving $42 each week

Ron Paul's Payday weekly money bombs
Goal: $500,000 to Ron Paul every week

You've excluded from your poll Ron Paul's Payday, which is getting a lot of favorable response.

I had it saved in my favorites on Youtube, however, I just went to get the link for you and when I clicked on it, it said it has been removed by user!

I'm not sure why people would want to stop using something that works so well. Even if the next money bomb doesn't get much media coverage, it still brings in more money, and more new donors, and generates more excitement than just having the meter up. It's easy to put off giving to something if there's no special event going on.

I like the idea of weekly money bombs for the hardcore supporters, with one big monthly money bomb to bring in new supporters and to get people to dig deeper. Those who don't like the money bomb idea can just give whenever they choose.

This is one weapon the other campaigns don't have and haven't been able to copy, so why not keep it going?

I would support reaching $20 mill this quarter and then change the name of fundraising drives to something more catchy than "money bombs"

I also support the payday plan but think it would be better to do it bi-weekly.

The plan to reach $20mill could be something simple like "send a couple bottles of champagne to celebrate...." of course that would be $10-40 donations, not big chunks of cash. Just my .02

OP, I'll be giving on New Years Eve.

Question: Does the NYE money bomb start at midnight on Dec 31 or on New Years Day?

Also, those donation links - why are they not directly to the campaign website?

How about a Valentines Day LOVE bomb?!

End of year

I believe it is all day on December 31st, so the money would count toward the fourth quarter of 2007.

It would start at midnight on the night before New Year's Eve then.

ronpaulspayday.com man!

See http://www.dailypaul.com/node/14915

Money bombs have had a purpose, it was to show the old media we're here and attract a ridiculous amount of media coverage.. we fulfilled that purpose as best we could (we broke the freakin record!)

We can't be divided in our efforts, the grassroots has embraced ronpaulspayday.com and we should forget the moneybombs and move on with the next step!

Money bombs are very important... donating is much more receptive if it is done in a "team-like" way... money bombs are very important to the RP revolution... I just think we need to wait a little while... that is why I think the MLK day one is a good choice... of course I will be donating New Year's eve.... I don't think we need an official money bomb for it though...
