AI will eventually take over all the input on the web.
Why do a search and read countless pages on a topic when the answer is a keystroke away?
So anyone with a how to website that thinks they will be relevant won't be.
I am sure it is just a matter of time and AI how to video's will dominate.

We are doomed.

Not shown: Open-source LLMs like LLaMa, Mixtral, and many more. We don't even know how many people are running their own LLMs locally. You can run some of them on your laptop, you don't need a big desktop/GPU setup.

If you're interested in running your own model locally (it's easy), start here.

Also, don't use ChatGPT, use HuggingChat. It's free and open-source and it's running the latest models, some of which are nearly on par with GPT4 performance. Grok2, for exmaple, is 5th place out of dozens of top models with 97% of ChatGPT-4o-latest performance. X/Musk has already open-sourced Grok-1 and I suppose he will release the weights of Grok-2 when Grok-3 is launched (although X has made no promises about when the weights will be open-sourced.)

tl;dr: Any alternative to ChatGPT is superior. Open-source tools allow you to build your own chatbots/agents that will do anything ChatGPT can do, and beyond. And they're free and don't spy on you...

yes! The most popular AI right now is ChatGPT by OpenAI. It's widely used for natural language processing, chatbots, and various applications in both personal and professional settings.

DeepSeek R1 is as good or better and it's open-source (you can download the entire model off HuggingFace).

HuggingChat has a selection of free and open-source cutting-edge models that people can use without being spied on by OpenAI.
