What are Ron Paul's religious views?

Is Ron Paul a Christian and, if yes, which denomination do his religious views align with? Is he a Catholic, a Protestant, an Anglican or an Orthodox?

He's a Protestant and that's about all he says about it. He read Matthew Six. He doesn't say his alms in public

Last I checked he was a Baptist evangelical and was skeptical of darwinian evolution, although I wouldn't extrapolate that last bit too far. I'm pretty sure he has some kind of creationist leanings, but based on what he's said publicly, it wouldn't be possible to say how he would describe those beliefs in detail.
