If we're not saving money, which we're not, Americans should benefit from another tax payer shouldered windfall.

We benefit from defeating our enemies who would imprison or kill us if they could.

In fact absence of defeat our enemies would build a prison around us or kill us.

The benefits are both seen and unseen.

In order to be anti slavery you must defend the group of people who are against slavery from their enemies. You have to protect your sheep to be a good shepherd.

To be against slavery you have to be against slavery.

Invading a region of people and forcing them into your submission, is slavery.

You can make whatever excuse you want, the slaveowners of the South had their own multitudes of excuses to justify their slavery of blacks. They aren't really people so it doesn't count. Or they're doing it for the blacks' own good. Or the blacks wouldn't know what to do with freedom if they had it. Or they have to do it out of necessity because the system would otherwise break.

No matter what the excuse, slavery is evil.

And you're just full of excuses, just as they were.

We liberated Taiwan from Imperial Japan. That was when they used to speak Japanese. Now they are learning to speak English by 2030.
