The walk in florida was a good idea, but if we could generate people to do it across the country, people would ask the media to find out why we are doing it. Anything that will catch attention, a group of people pacing with message signs on an overpass, or people holding message signs spaced 50 to 100 feet apart along major avenues. ANYTHING to help get the message out. To get people to ask questions. Honestly, I called the RP campaign HQ the other day and the guy I talked to, the 1 who was supposed to be in charge, just did not seem enthused in his job or any ideas other than door to door canvassing. This is effective only to a point. We need to do something that the media will be unable to ignore. It's easy to bring people to us if we spark their curiosity. This need to be a nation wide effort. I volunteer to walk from Springfield Il. to KC. If we can coordinate at least 100 people coast to coast simutaniously, I think it would be a good start. Carry a banner and slimjims to pass along the way. Have preset camping spots along the way set up by other RP followers(food, water, sleeping bag, etc.)
We need to take this to the next level and fast! The fix is in and we need to expose it!

McCain Supplied The Rope, All We Need Is A Tree

A simple 15 second TV ad.

Start: McCain singing bomb, bomb, bomb - bomb, bomb Iran.

After song : Voice over, “Our next President? Let’s hope not!”

Switch to photo or footage of Ron Paul looking very presidential.

Voice over: “A Vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Dignity, Peace and Prosperity”.

Produce the ad. Present it to supporters. Ask for continuous donations to finance running it prime time as many times, in as many states, as possible.

I agree with the TV ADs. It costs money no doubt but that is where the American eyeballs are. Here in Kansas and Missouri we've worked together and have had constant sign waves and marches. We've put up billboards and have had a VERY successful small newspaper run. But the TV and local talk radio worked best. It is the place where Ron Paul got noticed. A constant ad campaign using different messages to the people and his supporters. TV and radio is the place that increased our Meetup membership. New money, new supporters, more awareness.
