Thats when the candidates report their second quarter fundraising results to the FEC. (that's my understanding). This is the time to dig deep go past when it hurts, give like you were funding the last chance to save your freedom.

Ron doesn't need to catch the other candidates, we already know he has 100 times the free volunteer workers as all the other candidates combined. But he needs to get enough to get people's attention and gain credibility.

His message is 100% credible, but the sad truth is many won't support him until they believe he has a real chance, and that equates to $$$.

Also, does anyone know if we can determine how many individuals contributed to each campaign I would love to see a comparison between the candidates, because frankly I feel that RP probably had more people behind him, but the big money interests are funding Rudy McRomney. That's just my personal belief, are those numbers available and where can we find out?

Anyway, please please please help put Ron Paul on the map so more people will hear his message.

It will be updated again for the next quarter of the election process.

Remember though, corporate donations come from individuals, presumably with the corporation paying an individual to donate. OpenSecrets correlates corporate donations with individual ones by employment. Hillary seems to have the most corporate contributions.

good idea. i will donate more money again. guess i thought i had done my money thing, but more money will help. maybe lots of us should donate more.
are there any celebrities or other public figures who will promote him?

we are never going to win the money thing. we have to win this IN SPITE OF the money thing. Just keep preaching the message to your parents, grandparents, kids, nephews, friends, pastors, etc.

Excellent post. I'm doing what I can :) Everyone needs to take this thread into serious consideration.

I heard a rumor from a VERY reliable source that there are a lot of people out who want to give Ron Paul A LOT of money. The legal vehicle to do so is being put in place. Expect a huge boost.

However, this should in no way excuse us all from doing everything we can to fund the campaign. I just wanted to provide some good info.

Thanks! Very helpful site exactly what I was looking for.

I definitely plan on maxing out my maximum allowance this summer

I could see someone like Ross Perot putting up some bucks or someone from Silicon Valley.

I don't think the idea is to win, necessarily, but to be a contender. Also, don't underestimate Ron's appeal. I think he can pull in a lot of money still.

that sucks. I was just adding my comment when they took it down.

Obvious censorship and the last comment I read about not understanding why there are so many RP supporters, well it sounded like one of those analysts because she went on to talk about Mitt, Guiliani and so forth.

CNN is a corporation. What do we expect?? Ron Paul to them is the bad guy.

That may be. just saying, that is not where our strength lies, it's the message that will win, regardless of money.

Course, money helps.

Without money the message doesn't get heard.

I don't think we even need to be close to the top three, but a strong fourth or fifth position in the money department by the end of June would separate RP from the 2nd tier, and draw more people to listen to his message as they see that he is a serious contender.

I agree that's not how it should be, but I am afraid that is how it is.

Why not?

If 2 million people gave $50 apiece, that's $100M!

That'll put him on the map.

HMMM A Ron Paul/Ross Perot ticket would be a paleoconservative's dream. Might attract libertarians too.

Who is your source and how much can he expect?

I keep thinking that what is the chance of freedom worth? I was on my way to donate another $25 to Paul, but then upped it to $100. I wish I had more to give.

I would also like to hear of anyone else donating since last night's debate.

I haven't given again since the debate, but I will give a minimum of $100 more before the end of June.

I am sure RP appreciates all of our contributions of money and time. As a fellow American I certainly appreciate everyone's efforts, including Dr. Paul's. He is sacrificing more than anyone to do this. (It's weird to say it is a sacrifice, but you can tell he is 100% not in this for himself, he is a true public servant)
