wanna see a grassroots campaign elect a write-in candidate?

GOAL: SUPPLY +50 million voters to write-in Ron Paul on Ballot in November.

A "canvass" can be organized with different desired goals:

• sell RP to supporters
• Distributing information
• Persuasion
• Fundraising
• Signing up new members
• Voter registration
• Encouraging people to vote (Get Out the Vote)

Ron Paul could get a majority popular vote as a write in. Its gonna take a lot of money and a dedicated support from millions of people. RP message uses the market for donations, enthusiasim and support because the message is about liberty, freedom, peace, and the constitution. the free market accept NO imitations.

If we get 50+ million write ins and it is ignored all hell would break loose 50+ million pissed off Americans aren't that stupid.

Perhaps having a huge number of write-in voters in an election would help ensure that the vote counting becomes a big part of the story come November -- I don't know about you guys but my chad will be hanging in RP's direction

The idea has me intrigued. It would be a wake up call. In thinking what will be the one most important issue by Nov., I think it will be the economy. I don't think the market is done tanking by a long shot. Most the news this am. is sounding that alarm.

If that one issue, becomes a panic issue prior to Nov., a simple theme of stop the insanity of government spending might be a cheap and easy way to get people on board. I don't think trying to cover 5 or 10 issues will not get us there.

If most were to agree, and take a calculated risk the economy will be the issue, it could be started soon.

Something simple like a Wanted poster- 50 Million Americans willing to put a stop to the insane government spending. Uncle Sam Pointing to them. Help by writing in Ron Paul for President. He promises to cut spending and stop the decline of the American dollar. Help save America.

Most are getting their Jan. statements on investments and are going to be start waking up.

One small poster that could be delivered in bulk at a cheaper cost.

Just my thought for what it is worth.

Yet, I do believe we have a HUGE fighting chance. So maybe this discussion is way premature????

IF something runs amuk --I personally could care less if my state *allows* it! I'm writing him in because I could NOT vote for anyone else! PLUS --after all this I want my voice to be heard! PERIOD!
