He was interviewed for the article and said he doesn't know why his votes weren't counted. I'm sure he's trying to get the Maine GOP to count his votes.

Is there a way to audit the votes in these last minute caucuses? I suspect there are instances where it would be easy to show some fake id and bus in out of staters or something. This is all so fishy to me. I am still really encouraged by the super strong finishes...

These officials doing this should seriously be thrown in jail or tarred and feathered. These is not just a few votes and some children's play. This is our lives, freedom, and prosperity we're talking about.

Yep..reading that article is just really upsetting. Look at this shit:
The release described some caucuses as having "decided not to participate" in the poll, choosing instead to caucus after the statewide announcement. This was followed by the disclaimer that, "Their results WILL NOT be factored into this announcement after the fact."
Oh yea, ohhhhhhhh k, suuuuuuure. So this jackass is saying 'they decided' to just not caucus? Yes, they were like 'Guys, lets wait til AFTER the announcement of who won, even though it's not really over yet. Sound good to you? Because, ya know, that just makes so much f'ing sense!'

According to Mike Quatrano, executive director of the Maine Republican Party, and the person who issued the press release, the omission of the Waldo County votes was not a typo. Quatrano did not offer to review the results, but said simply that what appeared on the press release was what was counted by the party.

The GOP leader noted the deadline for local caucus organizers to submit results and chalked up the rows of zeroes after dozens of towns around the state, including 17 of the 18 that participated in the Waldo County event on Feb. 4, to either a lack of participation or a failure by organizers to submit results.
Ohhhhh yea, of course, they just all decided to go out and caucus, but then said 'fuck it guys, lets go get some beers and pizza!' Basically, let's just blame it on them not handing it on time or not showing up.

I suppose they were 'lazy' too and decided to not come out? The GoP chair there doesn't even explain it was due to their bullshit 'snow storm' excuse. Maybe that was why!??! Man, biggest load of crap i have heard yet. I thought IA had some horrible excuses, ME beat them out on this one.
