In their statement, they criticize Rep. Goodlatte for being weak on the life issues. I never realized it, but now that I think about it, Bob Goodlatte has never been an outspoken supporter of the right to life. I mean, he has done the regular thing by voting right...but I have never heard him speak as openly and proudly about the right to life as Karen Kwiatkowski. Here is what she said:

I am pro-life, and I adamantly oppose the use of federal funds to support abortion in any way, at any stage. Abortion, is a matter for state legislatures to discuss, and if necessary legislate, and ultimately it is a matter for families, churches, and communities to resolve and prevent.

In addition, A LOT OF VIRGINIANS IN REP. GOODLATTE'S DISTRICT ARE PRO-LIFE...REMIND THEM ABOUT HIS VOTE TO CONTINUE FUNDING PLANNED PARENTHOOD AND ABORTIONS IN WASHINGTON D.C. A vote for Goodlatte, is a vote against one of the unalienable rights...the right to life! A vote for Kwiatkowski will give us a powerful, pro-life woman who will never waiver on the right to life! I believe that we cannot legislate morality. But we can do something about it! The last thing our government should be doing with our taxpayer dollars (especially when we are in a national deficit) is use it to fund abortion organizations. In fact, our government should not be funding any private organizations (like NPR)!
