Senator Rand Paul and Congressman Thomas Massie are both opposed to U.S. involvement in Syria.

"I think it could escalate quickly because the Syrian government, their targets are local and they could, for instance, attack Israel, at which point Israel's going to respond and then you're going to have other countries possibly get involved."

House members will receive a classified briefing Monday.

Congressman Massie says nothing in the briefing will change his position since 99% of the constituents who have contacted him oppose the U.S. getting involved in Syria.
