His stance on the former is good, but his stance on the latter is disappointing and really puts into perspective, I think, how good Rand really is as a Senator.

A covert operation(s) is probably why they got weapons and chemicals in the first place. I'd love to believe and trust our special forces and the intelligence community but the way the govt is I just can't. I understand your sentiments however and would be inclined to prefer the use of special forces in lieu of an invasion on sensitive situations like this but the way the govt is, they'd probably only make the matters worse and create more enemies.
