[video]: Ron Paul post-debate interview on Stossel (8/11/11)

This Ron Paul seems different than the one in the debate. Maybe he is adversely affected by the pressure of standing among vicious egomaniacs and being assaulted by biased anchors. Not to mention he's been campaigning hardcore and likely all day before this debate. I know that I would be greatly affected by these factors and I am less than half his age.

Go Ron, you have my full devoted support.

Yes. He was nervous and he spoke very fast. It was much better on Stossel. What we have to do to make him speak slower at debates? All the other spoke twice slower then he.

Good interview. Gotta love when he makes the case for free trade as an alternative to war and sanctions. :)

Does anybody have a tube of rand after the debate
The most common question tossed over to Sen. Rand Paul, R-KY, in the spin room, was a version of: "What did you make of Rick Santorum's attack on your father?"

"You know," said Paul, "I'd rather not talk about other candidates, particularly if they don't have a chance of winning. I think there are some other significant candidates and significant issues, but I didn't really see that as one."

Did Stossel say he thinks a state would legalize polygamy?
Yeah, that wasn't fair, dropping that bomb after the interview was over. Just like drugs, gay marriage and many other issues, Dr. Paul wants to leave it to states to decide. If you're a libertarian, there's pretty much no way to argue for federal interference in polygamy. As Dr. Paul said, it's a moot point anyway, because no state is going to legalize polygamy anytime soon.

Paul just passed bachmann on intrude ames...for now. Still bouncing around

Stossel was being sarcastic because it was so ridiculous an assumption, but...Stossel's dead pan sarcasm came off kinda serious. Would look bad to a viewer who didn't really know paul or stossel.

Notice what happens at 4:04 in the background LOL :collins::collins: ;):D:p

What was that over RP's right shoulder?! I think they should have halted the interview right then and there. Stossel could have mentioned the photo and hand shake opportunity! :-)

You get more relaxed when you are with your friends and allies.
Stossel is our reliable friend and his audience is in general leaning libertarian.
