[Video] Rand Paul on Face the Nation w/ Bob Schieffer 4/12/15

Liberals are coming after him on the day Hillary announces. Rand better play it smart and cool....

I'm sure he will. ;)

This will be the one I watch. Schieffer is by far the least awful Sunday sow host.

Good God, I scooped jct74. I didn't think I'd ever pull that off.

Anyone else know what's so damned interesting about Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) that they're not only having her on the same show, but giving her equal billing in the commercials?

Good interview. Rand repeated that he's in favor of negotiations with Iran and wants peace, not war. He hit Hillary Clinton hard on taking donations from Saudi Arabia, Brunei and other "stone age societies" where women are lashed and jailed for being raped and stoned to death for adultery. He got a genuine laugh from Bob Schieffer when he said that the people who succeed in politics are usually the people who are best at not answering a question. He said he thinks the GOP is behind him in his efforts to reach out to new voters, and that even his rivals for the nomination have come up to him to say they respect what he's doing. He reaffirmed that he eventually wants to see an end to ALL foreign aid, including to Israel, but that nations that hate us should be ended first -- and it's hard enough to get people in DC to support even that. And he said his biggest challenge is getting across what he actually believes, not what his enemies try to say he believes.

All in all, a good, friendly interview.

Agree, thought he did great. Also liked him taking it to Hillary on her failed "3 am moment" and the previous 9 months of failure to respond to Benghazi. His position of peace/negotiation, and critically examining the details of the agreement to ensure a good deal vs. war w/ Iran made him seem reasonable in contrast with the hawks,

Interesting. This is the first time I've heard of any central time zone market getting a tape delay on anything.

Well, the Meet the Stress interview was short but good...

I couldn't even watch all of Face The Nation & Meet The Press because they were both on at the same time for me. Guys, spread this one out its #ThingsNomineesDo.

Speaking of the time slots these shows air in local markets: CBS's Face the Nation won't even air until 1 AM Monday where I live! Apparently Golf is more important.

Hey I'd rather watch golf than listen to Bob Schieffer talk
