Yes, but I don't know if I can agree with this premiss.

I think the more telling question is this; what does it mean knowing that Bernanke isn't clueless, but rather he's deliberately pursuing these monetary policies because they are having the effect on the economy that he wants?

I actually think Peter is too astute to bring this up, but what does that make me?
