I think PACs work best when they put out the dirty messages because it allows the candidate to focus on the positive. And the fact that the candidate can't control the message allows him to distance himself from any fail.

Yep. When candidates themselves go negative, it can backfire big time, but if it's a super pac or an outside entity, the candidate merely acknowledges that the group has a right to free speech and it would be against the spirit of the Constitution to tell them to stop it. Two birds, one stone.

On the topic of this ad, I am glad Liberty For All stepped up in this race. I would like it if they spent more here and less on Jeff Flake's race, especially since he essentially has it locked up, but hey, something is better than nothing.
