OK so this headline on their website that was also used word for word in several commercials I saw yesterday was a total lie! WTF!

Yeah, total lie. I honestly thought this was one of Rand's more Ronish interviews. He talked about the slippery slope of increasing surveillance cameras, talked about how after 9/11 70% of people were willing to surrender all freedom in order to have "security." Talked about how we're building up every nation in the world but can't keep the WH open for tours, talked about 1984-style surveillance state, etc.

That would be considered a 'hot pursuit' if an officer encountered such a situation and is authorized to use force. And, we're not talking about one of the military drones, one of the small ones that doesn't drop hellfires.

And they are happy to have and keep Rand. This kind of effort is not to hurt Rand with their audience, it won't. It is to hurt Rand with US. It is to push US away. Won't work though, we are not stupid, we know it's a distortion, and we know that Rand will always serve the cause of Liberty.

FOX is mostly run by neo-conservatives. It was inevitable that they would smear Rand at some point. Just as it is inevitable that they will build up Rubio.

Absolutely. And if he's half the man and politician he's seemed to be so far, if he's even a fraction as cunning as his rise indicates, I'm sure he'll do an even better job at putting himself in more favorable situations and mitigating "mistakes" like this, if it could even be called that.
