this is supposed to air at 10 am Saturday morning and I saw several commercials for it Friday but I have no idea what they are talking about, does this make sense to anyone?

We go behind Sen. Rand Paul’s major push for MORE surveillance across the country. Tune in to The Cost of Freedom.

update: here is some of the interview, the beginning part where he is talking about surveillance, clearly the advertisement they put out was a lie.

They probably mean his statement that drones could lawfully be used for surveillance, *given proper search warrants.* This is, of course, a gross distortion of his position, since Rand hasn't been "pushing" for any such thing, but has simply acknowledged that it would be lawful when the subject was raised with him, and since it would not necessarily increase the amount of surveillance across the country, though it might increase the effectiveness of *warranted* surveillance. It is absolutely absurd how wildly the things Rand says are distorted in the media.

This is why it's so important to choose words carefully when discussing these hot button issues. Those MSM whores live for anything they can use as a smear.

Why would FOX do this? I'd understand if it were MSNBC or CNN, but the drone filibuster actually made the GOP, including the Priebus-McConnell establishment, look like the good guys for the first time in a very long time.

You're new around these parts, aren't you?

More surveillance is good for the war on terror so Fox News is pushing it.

always easier to ask one person.. frankly if you look at obama and romney who both had plenty of misspoken words, i don't know how much more we can ask of rand, or anybody else in that matter

Let's just be honest here guys - Ron out of the 535 congressional douches has the most integrity; how did that work out.

When the news doesn't have something, they will just make it up. How many times have we had to tell people about dumb shit like the news letters becuase our pals at FOX wanted Romney the 2nd and McCain the 1st time. These people will lie, cheat, and steal - whatever it takes. That's why they have held the reigns for so long. It's game theory, they operate on a whole other level we are just beginning to become acquainted with. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY wanted to see the caucuses for what they were at first. Not even me, hell - I held out till Jesse spelled the end out.

My new slogan after this thread. It takes balls to support the Paul's!
Life when seen through the perspective of liberty is a series of zombie walls.

What's worse is - it's this Jamie piece of shit most of the time starting it. If you're new to Rand or Ron PLEASE READ THIS ARTICLE. These people tried to drive a dagger into the back of Ron,(and supporters by proxy) and it pissed me off - the guy is so old they say "he can't run" - so they just attack this non-existent character. If I was Ron I would know the truth, but it would still make me sad -- all that work and this guy calls him a racist. That can't feel good no matter who you are.

I just saw something flash on the screen about special interview with Rand Paul at 11:30 am. it's a 2 hour show apparently.

So did anyone catch this? I was thinking they probably were referring to his recent push back against the immigration bill, his amendment requiring the border be secure first, etc.

fox sucks just like msnbc,cnn.

He's doing a great interview right now with Bolling. Talking about how more cameras leads to a slippery slope, notes that cameras which caught the terrorists were private cameras that businesses used to defend their property. Pretty much taking down Bolling who wants more cameras.

LOL, Rand just said that we're rebuilding every nation in the world but can't keep the WH open for tours...

OK so this headline on their website that was also used word for word in several commercials I saw yesterday was a total lie! WTF!
