Very Low Turnout in my district

Hey everyone! I just returned from the polling place to cast my vote for Ron Paul!

One thing I noticed, is that very few people had voted. Out of the 4 districts which voted at the same place, only 80 or so people had cast their ballot. Why is that important? My district (17, if someone is super savvy and can get actual numbers) probably consists of a few thousand people. So, multiply 2,000 by 4 to figure maybe 8,000 total people who live in the 4 combined districts. 80 people voted. That is a TINY number!

Quite frankly, I'm really excited about that! I've only seen Ron Paul signs around here - and a lot of them too! So I'm guessing there are a good percentage of the voters went for Ron Paul.

What a change over the past 4 years! Last go around, my signs kept getting stolen, now, everywhere I look there is Ron Paul swag! We're growing while the rest of the party shrinks! Keep fighting everyone!

Same thing here in PA. Im getting reports from both CD's im covering that voter turnout is very low.

Every election voter turnout has been low we get our hopes up for nothing... ill wait for the results...

More important than analyzing low voter turnout = find 10 more Ron Paul Votes, do whatever it takes to get them to the polls, then repeat.

This. There are senior citizens who vote in retirement homes and will all vote. Call your friends, get them to the polls.

Over here in CT almost nobody was voting for republican nominee. However, there was a town vote on the budget and tons of people were voting on that.

Me and my gf went to vote. We were 2 our of 4 voters. And the old man helping us smiled when he heard us talking about voting for Ron Paul. We live in Brooklyn btw.

I wonder if those retirement homes = college campuses, except they like Romney and not Paul. I wonder if those retirement homes are the magical "large precincts" that are full of "fraud".

Don't just call your friends, ask those friends to call their friends and tell to call their. Each friend that someone calls should be told to tell their friends to call as well.

BUMP WE CAN UPSET ROMNEY TONIGHT IN NY. LET'S DO IT!

The media has called this for Mitt which is why not many are showing up. A very, very good day for Paul is:

Paul and Newt winning 1 state each
Mitt not getting 100% of the delegates in any state (ex: over 50% in NY = 100%)
Paul winning half of the 72 delegates even if he comes in 3rd in PA with the help of the people on the street.

I don't think we will, but that's fine. NY is now a proportional primary, based on congressional districts. I'm more than willing to bet we will get a few of them. One thing to realize about NY is how much it varies from area to area. NYC votes one way, western NY votes another, upstate still different. So, with that said, I can't imagine Paul taking NY, I can see him doing very, very, well.

I wonder how many of those in retirement homes are "dead." :D

Anyone have the actual vote totals for each state? I saw percentages but no raw numbers. Are They too embarrassed to show them I wonder?
