OK, Crumpet Eater. Here's why Americans have guns.
1.) To defend ourselves. Police don't have to protect us by law.
2.) To defend our Wife, Children, and Family.
3.) Throughout History, only Slaves of the State are disarmed.
4.) The Bottom Line of the 2nd Amendment.... The 'People' of America have guns because it is the Last Line of Defense against a Tyrannical Government. If guns are so evil, why should people who are in governments have them?

Oh of course they are, they have been trained to handle those dangerous weapons and are here to protect us from other evil people who have guns. Of course they always arrive after people have been killed and thus don't save anybody from anything.

Remember the motto, 'when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.', this should help folks understand why they need to be armed.
