So- women should not have the same rights as men? Because the head of an organization promoting it was from a Socialist Party? (She was the first woman President of Chile after being their first female defense minister). I oppose the United Nations. PERIOD.

Plus, she's a Socialist.

While the title sounds positive, I am skeptical of anything the UN does. My own experience of sitting on a committee for WHO, was that it was highly inefficient and not a whole lot gets accomplished. I got a free trip to Japan out of it, then resigned being frustrated with the lack of anything really getting done. This is probably just another big money pit and inefficient make-work-program, IMHO.
