Why is how one chooses to vote public record? Unless one gives consent then that information should be confidential. So, as it stands, a liberal employer could look up your voting history and, if you voted Rep., find a way to dismiss you. Seems to me voting records should be confidential unless express consent is given to make it public.

ETA: Looks like it only shows whether or not you voted. Not your personal choice.

The spokesman said it was a very narrowly targeted mailer. It makes me wonder how the targeting was done. Neither of the people in the screenshots from the article show up on the FEC donor lists.
