Two Ron Paul YouTube accounts banned within a week?

I think the first was RonPaul2008dotcom? And then today, I had my YouTube account terminated within minutes of uploading a very simple Romney, Obama, Paul health care video that only used text quotes.

There is absolutely no way to talk with a human being at YouTube/Google that I am aware of, as the only phone numbers on the internet are to an automated system that repeatedly directs you to online links/searches, and the emails are auto-generated as well from what I can tell.

Anywho, I still have all the video files (I think) of my videos, and I can re-upload them to a new account...the thing I'm wondering is, is there another video service that works as well as YouTube for all users here, or should I just create another account since I can't even figure out what was wrong with the first one, and they sure won't tell me?

Perhaps it's just time to start a PAC.....

did you use video from cnbc?

No, the video they terminated my account for had no media clips in it, and the sound I used was from a sound loop program with all free loops...so nothing was copyrighted in the program.
The only thing it showed was a quote from Romney, a quote from President Obama, and then a quote from RP...and ended with "Visit RonPaul2012.com, to learn more."
Within about 5 minutes of it being posted, my entire account was terminated...

There is no way the timing is coincidental in my mind. Some of these vids have been posted for along time.

Exactly. I had uploaded over 70+ videos, without any issues at all (minus one that was falsely flagged as copyright, but that was removed by the company after review and saw it wasn't even why it was flagged).
Last night, I uploaded Fox News' Carl Cameron saying RP can be nominated, absolutely no issues with that video at all.
I upload a new one, that contains no news clips at all, and within 5 minutes my entire account and ALL the videos are terminated?

Coffee, have you filed with them to get it reinstated? This is getting totally rediculous, guilty until proven innocent. There should be notification and minimum a period of time for response to the charges before taking a site down....

so you've had 2 copyright claims on your account before today? I believe they automatically terminate you on the 3rd claim.

So, I doubt this new video was the culprit and that you received an infringing claim on another video which put you on the '3 strikes your out' list.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.

Oh, I have filed...and even stated Google's company "What We Believe" to them and how their actions seem a little off to their stated policies:
1) Focus on the user and all else will follow.
and
3) Fast is better than slow.

I have said getting auto-generated responses with no ability to talk with a human...is not "fast" and is at best "slow" if not stupid for a multi-billion dollar company. (not exact words, try to keep it professional when sending messages)
I have even looked up one of their local offices here in the state...wonder what the employees would think if somebody showed up with a simple, "My account was banned, and I'm just trying to find a human to talk with."?

No, there was an auto-flag put on one older video, but that was cleared as it was their own mistake (again, their system flagged something, that didn't need to be flagged), and this one wasn't even flagged as a copyright claim...

This was the auto-response I have received:
"Thanks for your email. Your "CoffeeWithPolitics" account has been found to

I added the bold, so you could see that they aren't exactly helpful, and provide nothing other than, "We banned your account...no explanation needed other than we're right, you're wrong."

That would be great, you might get the "dear in the headlight" look, but then maybe they would appreciate the warmth :)

I don't believe it's a conspiracy. Shit like this happens on YT all the time. Even AVGN was once banned.

I got the same thing when my Twitter account was suspended 3 times in a week, could not get a human to respond, just autogenerated messages from complaints that I filed. And the last time my account was suspended for 3 days, no explaination, and just reappeared again....confusing and frustrating...."welcome human, how may we help you.....thank you for your input, human, we will take your input into consideration over the next week or so...we appreciate you human patience"....

Not sure if it's YT or the media elite?

There was a 20 second clip of FoxNews announcing Ron Paul will be up for nomination in Tampa earlier today and that account was banned. All it was was the reporter's announcement, no music, words - anything!

"This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube's policy against spam, scams, and commercially deceptive content."

Oh ok, so it's not a copyright problem. Some bitter youtube member(s) decided to erroneously flag this till the automated system took it down.
