Tucker Carlson: ‘Identity politics will destroy this country faster than a foreign invasion’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson declared Wednesday night that "identity politics will destroy this country faster than a foreign invasion."

Carlson made the comments during a monologue on his program that focused on the media firestorm surrounding students from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky and Native American activist Nathan Phillips.

The story has received ample coverage, particularly on cable news, with President Trump using initial press coverage of the filmed exchange in front of the Lincoln Memorial last week to bash "fake news."

A viral video clip appeared to show a student wearing Trump's "Make America Great Again" cap, later identified as Nick Sandmann, in some kind of confrontation with Phillips, with dozens of boys seemingly mocking the activist while he continued to beat a drum and sing.

Subsequent videos suggested the initial clip was selectively edited and shown out of context, however, and that the meeting was hardly confrontational, leading to heavy criticism of media outlets for running with the story based on the original video.

Perhaps Zippy will take this into consideration? I doubt it...

destroy this country

Probably the best course of action at this point.

Based on what I'm seeing, roughly half the people in this country are bugshit insane, and I don't want them within a thousand miles of me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. They aren't half the country. They just seem that way because the MSM refuses to point their cameras and microphones at anyone who isn't bug$#!+ insane.

It is very troubling when I see journalists or commentators using a word
like this when they should use; 'indicated' .

Mrs AF and I argue this point constantly.

She is of your way of thinking.

I say you both are wrong and I base that on vote tallies, and credible polling data.

In light of say 56% in favor of Medicare for all and a Uni-party super-dooper progressive majority in California, convince me otherwise.

I used to be an optimist, now I'm in agreement with you. When people finally get hungry, all hell is going to break loose, they wont start working all of a sudden.

Laws ostensibly protecting Medicare broke the health industry, and Medicare is being sold as the cure in a purely Hegelian manner. A few polls cooked up to help make that sale is no indication that half the nation has suddenly turned into race rioters.

And the Land of Fruits and Nuts is not the nation.

I'm with you on this and it has nothing to do with polling data except my own. There is a reason why friends I have numbered in the dozens a decade ago have shrunken to less than a handful and I won't have anything to do with them. Individuals that at one point I could at least reason with and find some modicum of common when Ron Paul first ran have now become full on socialists. The vehemence they throw against me now, in the light of current events, succinctly betrays their core beliefs. Or perhaps they merely hid them. One particular ex-friend, who called for a banning of MAGA hats for those under 18, actually condemned me for a "simpleton redneck." Unable to understand politics, because of my lack of education. You see in the time since Ron Paul first ran he has received his PhD. in English Literature. This of course makes him a man of higher learning. And, as he called me, not a "simpleton redneck." Of course the fact that we came from the same neighborhood made no difference. He rose above at workers expense. Through the course of his transformation he bragged how there was so much money in grants and tuition assistance he didn't even need a part-time job. He's now one of the elite. Bring on the new revolution. Robespierre is in full play.

Cooked numbers and the angle of the camera lenses, like how the Covington kids were set up. Let us not forget the voter fraud all over the country is real. That is how the deception works--"Just when you think you got it all figured out...you're wrong."

Absolutely.

But he is right to be concerned. Many humans are herd animals, and if the MSM can convince him the herd is headed a certain direction, they can convince quite a few sheep to head that direction.

That's why I find it important to point out that, at this point, it's just a manufactured illusion. Because if nobody does, they'll succeed in starting their stampede.

There is always reason for concern because, just like Hollyweird makes movies that people believe is reality, they are using that art to deceive so many people into believing the lies. They want people to lose hope, without hope, people tend to give up and allow this evil to surround them and control them.

Exactly.

I have seen this myself.

Who were all those people in the twatterverse that jumped on the bandwagon to crucify those kids?

Bots?

Fake news?

That is how the deception works--"Just when you think you got it all figured out...you're wrong."

That clip cuts both ways.

What if I am the one perceiving things correctly, and you are the one that has it figured all wrong?

All I'm saying is be prepared.

Be aware of what is coming.

If I'm wrong, and nothing happens, then everything wags along as usual.

If I'm right however, and the Jacobin mob catches us flat footed...well, game over man.

The current population of the U.S. is estimated at 328,043,314. All those botpeople add up to, what? A hundred? A thousand? One third of one one thousandth of one percent, remarkable only in that they have cameras pointed at them?

And the first line of defense is to show the herd that these outliers aren't really numerous enough to be worth following. Falsely inflating their numbers is aiding and abetting your enemy.

The best weapon is contemptuous laughter. Better to invest an ounce of contemptuous laughter now than to help them put us in a position of having to claim a pound of flesh later.

All, what people? I do not understand where you are going with this?

Twitter was the only outlet, at the time, that was calling out the fake news, mind you.

Attorney Robert Barnes is now taking on the Covington kids case pro bono. People still spewing this fake news are now on notice.

If you are perceiving things you think are correct, what if it is being perceived through deceptive practices? Does that make you right?

I identify as a Bush worshiper. I further identify as a Champion of Iraqi Freedom War. Once in a while, I also identify as a "Libertarian".

You dismissed California as an example, but what about my home state?

The New Bolshevik mob that just swept into power will transform in two years, the most free state in the nation into just another northern state socialist shithole, politically...if they get their way.

What about NY state, which has another progressive super duper majority?

I could go on, but you see my point...freedom is not popular.

Laughter? Hell, just something perceived as a contemptuous sneer is enough to get a doxxing and death threats.

Even if the government folds, those people will not be going anywhere. And if they are not within a thousand miles of you, they will be just blocks from me.
