Trump calls into the morning news program during the hostage crisis that unfolded in Sydney, Australia on Monday morning

Donald Trump thinks the United States is “stupid” for releasing detailed reports of CIA torture techniques implemented after 9/11, and doesn’t believe that the contents of the documents obtained by the Senate Intelligence Committee are all that “horrible.”

“We go for sleep deprivation and [terrorists] go for chopping off people’s heads, and then we’re horrible people, because sleep deprivation is a horrible form of torture, and waterboarding and all,” Trump said while phoning into Fox News on Monday. “Nobody can tell me we don’t get information with things such as that.”

But he's going to get rid of all the Aztec invaders!!! Dang it, that cancels EVERYTHING ELSE OUT!!!!!!! (sarcasm)

Randal should immediately challenge Trump to be waterboarded by a Navy Seal. And see if he will say its not torture afterwards.

You can get information, just not accurate information since people will say anything to make the torturers stop.
Signed,
Nobody

As we saw with the release of the Senate torture report last year, our government tortured people—and it did not work. The CIA’s use of torture was not effective in obtaining life-saving information; it set back counterterrorism efforts and even endangered American soldiers’ lives.

But hey, if stooping to the level of America's enemies and past war criminals can make US pols appear tough and resolved, and at the same time satisfy Americans' revenge fantasies and bloodlust, then who am I to argue? If it's torture they want, then it's torture they'll get.

The torture regime created under Bush and Cheney implicated the political leadership in both branches of the Ruling Party. Its infection has deeply penetrated the tissue of the Homeland Security system. It has created what could become a self-sustaining corps of professional torturers whose depraved talents will not be employed only against foreigners, but will very quickly become "policy" in dealing with certain troublesome elements among the citizenry as well. That corps, incidentally, includes a large number of medical professionals who -- in a collectivist perversion of their Hippocratic obligations, collaborated in the torture of detainees -- including, God forgive us, children who were seized in order to gain blackmail leverage over a parent.

A few reminders what the sick fucks did in our name and with our tax dollars:

Anarchist and NAP Trump is only trying to teach Americans about the absurdity of torture by supporting it.

Reality TV star Trump, who gets all of his politics and information from TV, declares that torture works because he saw it on a fictional TV show featuring a fictional torturer named Jack Bauer.
