Some people think this meeting ended like arguing children, but, while I think Vance instigated the exchange, I think it’s time someone put Zelensky in his place. He doesn’t have a clear perspective of the position Ukraine is in and refuses to take responsibility for the way he poked at Russia and the way the people of the Donbas region have been treated.

Kudos to Vance, though, for pointing out that visits to Ukraine are nothing more than carefully managed propaganda tours.
 
Very entertaining. Entirely a setup. Trump gets to broker an easy deal with Russia that screws Ukraine, and he gets to say, "You effed up, little Z". Meanwhile, he provokes all the right people....Dems, EU, and the media. Perfect.

Best plan for peace in the world: Any time there is a conflict anywhere, the US should step in and annex the territory. At the same time it's a deterrent, it's also a way for us to deport all non-citizens and give us more elbow room while securing access to resources since we're not going to trade. Brilliant!

Trump told Zenensky he had a weak hand. Ukraine will never join NATO. USA wants to extort 50% of Ukraines "raw earth" minerals. Reality check, Ukraine shares border with Russia. Ukraine does not need USA to make peace. Since Ukraine never join Nato, wise to become allies with Russia. Trump stated all he wants is for the bloodshed to stop and war to end. USA would have to welcome peace. Better be friends with Russia than the USA. Common ground for the meeting is that USA wanting to extort... Let's figure this out. The Zelenski regime serves the UK and the EU, they will never make peace with Russia, Russia is going to keep going until they have taken everything they want.
What Russia wants includes most of the minerals, Trump is going to make a deal with Russia for minerals and pull us out of assisting Ukraine.
The US and Russia will make very good friends, and Russia will need us as a friend when China collapses.

Ukraine was headed towards economic alliance with Russia back in 2013, and then the CIA was like nope that's not happening

Not sure how I came across this article, looks like foreign press. Maybe this will encourage Trump to pull all military bases out of Europe.
