Keep an eye on that website. I bet they bury that line somewhere a lot less conspicuous soon.

Keep an eye on that and the .gov websites. Perhaps it will be another Stake-Holder take-over, because "women" or "other reason"?

This happened on the same day:

Accurate Energetic Systems (AES), a manufacturer of TNT for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), has signed a contract to produce TNT as part of a larger agreement aimed at increasing the production of 155mm artillery shells. This contract is reported to be worth more than all previous contracts AES has signed with the DoD combined.

The best I could find is here:

OVERVIEW

In spite of how loudly they boast about being woman owned, I cannot find any information anywhere about specifically who the women who own this company are.

The Small Business Administration, known as the SBA, must set aside at least 5% of all contracting dollars for women-owned businesses each year. Suppose your business is certified as a Women Owned Small Business or an Economically Disadvantaged WOSB.

There are several possible tax benefits that women-certified businesses, allied businesses, and investors could get access to. First, your business could get reduced tax liabilities for projects funded with federal or state grants or receive tax incentives. The federal government is also prone to offer tax incentives to those businesses and states that work with minority or women-owned businesses. Finally, some local and national agencies will also give investors tax credits and tax waiver inducements if they choose to buy into your minority-certified business. Supporting women-certified businesses is a win-win situation for everyone.

Yea it's probably not actually women owned in practice, just on paper, but it's still fun to make fun of them for it
