Better ..."Anyone involved in the physical harm done to Ron Paul supporters today in Louisiana should be ashamed of themselves. Thanks to the Romney campaign for stepping in and taking the high road. Thanks to Paul supporters who have taken the high road since the beginning by playing by the rules–and winning—whether some in the establishment like it or not."

I'm curious to know how exactly the Romney campaign took the high road, since presumably, all this violence was perpetrated in order to guarantee Romney a smooth, meaningless convention.

our state gop is ran by the remnant of the christian coalition. they are not exactly allies of romney.
i think its a deep south thing.
at our caucus there were really three slates: ours, romney's, and the christian coalition slate.
romney's slate didn't manage 5%, but the christian coalition pulled in 30%.

I guess there really isn't a "Romney" wing of the party. That died with Nelson Rockefeller atop his mistress, I suppose. The sooner the "christian coalition" types leave the party the better. Let them have the Constitution (misnamed) Party.
