KABUL, Afghanistan – A truck bombing Monday killed three coalition service members in southern Afghanistan, NATO said in a statement. A local official said the attack targeted a base operated by troops from Georgia.

Omer Zawak, spokesman for the governor of the southern Helmand province, said the truck bomb exploded at the entrance to the Georgian outpost in the Musa Qala district of the province, one of the most volatile regions of Afghanistan.

The deaths brought the number of soldiers from the former Soviet republic of Georgia killed in Afghanistan to 22. Georgia has about 1,600 troops in Afghanistan, the largest non-NATO contingent there.

What would be more dangerous? If Obama actually did his job and went through with his socialist agenda or him being asleep at the wheel?

Obama's pretty much a fake rock star with a celebrity styled shallow cult of personality (which actually changes nothing in the world/country) and his obsessive need for people to pay attention to his family.

Does anyone believe that Obama makes even the slightest of decisions? Except for filling out his daily menu for the White House chef? I suspect that the Bush II administration was the exact same thing. Clinton was probably permitted to do some low level tasks.

He probably doesn't even want to know anymore, and will do what it takes to make sure nothing else gets leaked out. He is too paranoid to fire anyone, that is a sign of weakness and fear.

That is how I think his last 2 years as President will play out, as someone who just wants to get the hell out, and would follow any script until he can go retire in Hawaii.

Maybe I'm being too pessimistic. Maybe he will still yet understand the true spirit of this Nation, and one day defend the Constitution and the People's Bills of Rights without selfish goals in mind.

Perhaps he might wake up tomorrow!

I think JFK was just pissed at Allen Dulles for making his own little wars. Kennedy was handed a list of cabinet recommendations and picked almost everyone from the list. It was a Council On Foreign Relations list. I'm thinking he was a tool like everyone else.

And this, my friend, is why the "incompetence theorists" get it wrong. Whether Bush or Obama or Clinton were competent enough to carry out some conspiracy is irrelevant. It's the handlers and the moles that you have to watch out for. An "incompetent" government opens the way for malfeasance by underlings.

That's true but handled or not I think it's reasonable to expect the nominal head of a government to have a grip on things and this guy is just lost at sea.

He's an embarrassment and things are probably going to catch up with him.

Bush for example didn't care about the damage he wrought leading to massive losses in 2006 and 2008 for his party that lead to enough Democrats in the House in 2009 to ram through Obamacare.

America needs to wake up and elect a non-handled president who actually governs competently, shrinks the state and brings back meaningful prosperity.

You would think the press if they were being honest would also recognize this but they'll be right there cheering on the next tool (Clinton?) telling us how wonderful she is despite her utter failure as 'head' of the State Department.
