Politicians are know to jib jab and give non answers, the guy was unable to give any clear and to the point answer in part of debate I watched. I predict field will become wide open again and Perry will lose the lead he started with.
Horrible debate questions approved by msnbc's neocon owners. Paul did well I think but he was not asked meaningful questions on issues he champions. Debate was a wash overall.

If it ever came down to paul vs romney, our country just might be saved. Ron can destroy anyone in a one on one debate. Especially someone like romney who flip flops his views. What is romney going to attack ron paul on? Foriegn policy? Even though ron is 1000000% correct with his foriegn policy, most middle american citizens are the "america, fuk yea!!!" types that will want us in foreign countries

jax, your optimism is not too far from reality and I think your take is pretty objective also. I agree, Ron Paul has a very very solid shot in a Romney vs Paul match up.

We will still continue to work hard to attack Perry. It's one thing to know that Perry is weak and can be hurt.

It's another thing to continue to hit him and hurt him.

The polls indicate that attacking Perry is still punching up. Continue to punch up.

Yes, Perry needs to go. His rhetoric is all freemarket and less government but his actions contradict his rhetoric. He keeps touting the jobs he's "created" in Texas but conveniently leaves out all the subsidies he's given companies for relocating to Texas. In fact, we need to do a better job of explaining to people that Republicans like Perry are even bigger spenders than Democrats. George W Bush created the deficit and as this article points out, Republicans (modern "Repubicans) have done more to create this debt than Democrats. We need to explain that Republicans like Perry aren't a happy medium between Ron Paul and Obama. People like Perry are even bigger spenders when it comes to wars and crony capitalism.
