That's quite a lofty and insane goal to put nukes at Mach 17. I doubt they can do it.
But even if they stabilize half that speed, it's still going to get us in a whole lot of trouble.
The AI will be identifying and responding to threats. AI steps in where humans don't have enough time
to decide on response, let alone make a phone call like the old days.
Mach 17 Warsaw to Moscow is 2 minutes. Mach 17 Hamburg to Moscow is 3 minutes 20 seconds.
Russia would have to invade and occupy the range of this missile battery. This is probably why Putin doesn't want to waste
men on Ukraine. If the Dark Eagle is sent to not only Eastern, but Western Europe it will not be acceptable for Russia.
France, Italy are just inside the purported range of 1,700 miles, as is London.
Additionally, because the Pentagon knows Russia would have to invade Europe, it needs that HALO system.
Which of course Russia and China can't allow, either, so they will have to destroy these systems by force.
Knowing that to do so would start WW3, they are going to have to launch it all and wipe us out.
