There is no government solution to a people problem

.

I like Razorfist but he misses the mark at the end of this one. He spends most of the video explaining, quite properly why government (the state) is NEVER the solution to “people problems.”

So far, so good. But then at the end it’s like “except for these ‘local’ governments. Get involved there. That’ll help.”

Uh, no, it won’t. EVER. Local and state governments are every bit as dangerous and abusive as the fedgov. In many cases more so. And, contrary to popular myth, they usually are NOT any easier to check or control than the feds.

We’re not voting our way out of this. Not federally, not at the state level and not locally.

In fact, you’ll see the total elimination of the state long before you see any meaningful and lasting “reform.” It’s a much more efficient and productive use of our resources to focus our efforts in THAT direction.

Easing in to the pool will also work as a way to enter the pool, just the same as jumping in the deep end all at once. Local government is always preferable to national government. Anarchy cannot work until people are ready for it, and they're not ready for it, or even close. In the meantime, every move to smaller, more local government is always an improvement:

The perfect is the enemy of the good.
