The West Virginia Results to Watch (DELEGATES, Links Herein)

While the media will likely be reporting the popular vote in West Virginia, the results to watch are the delegate elections.

You can find the popular tally at all the usual places: CNN, AP

At that link - You will see 4 categories.
First, there is "Delegates At Large"
These are voted on statewide and the top 19 people will be elected as national delegates.
We obviously want the people with "Paul" next to their name to win.

Then there are sections for the District candidates (voted on within each CD).
The top 3 people for each CD will become national delegates.
Again we want the people with "Paul" by their name to win.

Let's hope something amazing happens.

There are some Congressional Primaries, but I don't think any of them are high profile as in Indiana.

Neh, it is a live feed of AP results. I am not sure why there are no delegate votes reported yet.

No, the popular vote (as we know it) refers to the beauty-contest where each voter directly chooses their choice for president. This beauty contest means nothing in terms of delegates.
The delegates are voted on individually, and yes people can chose 22 delegates (19 statewide and 3 district.) Sadly, only the beauty contest is being reported right now.

I believe in this case all the Paul delegates are labeled Paul.
Who knows for sure though.

And yes, we were the only people to get the right amount of delegates up on the ballot for each section.

just saw the popular vote flipping start: Romney went from 65% at 4% counted to 71% at 16% counted.

in Boone County, Paul has 1 delegate in the top 19 so far

There's no reason why it's taking so long for these votes to come in. I'm not suggesting anything, but WV uses those computer machines to feed the ballots into which should give them the count relatively quickly except for Braxton County which is counting by hand. WV has always been known for corrupt politics which is probably why John D Rockefeller the 4th choose to come here to run for office.

Anyway, anyone notice that Obama is only defeating his opponent by less than 20 points at the moment? Not very popular here.
