I'm surprised that fitness magazines haven't started doing profiles on Ron Paul. He beats the Hell out of a lot of their stories. Long distance bike riding and refusing to use elevators (and running up stairs all day) into your 70s is not ordinary at all in the fitness world. That's like a maniac athlete training program, continuing into the 70s.
He commits a lot of his day to atheltics and physical fitness, basically out of a habit, and it's contributing to his longevity and health in an obvious way.
Not to mention, from what I remember, his mom lived into her 90s and his dad, to over 100. All his brothers are alive and he's the middle kid. If he'd never messed his knee up in high school, maybe the world would be a different place.
