The Money Masters - How International Bankers Gained Control of America

Another Zeitgeist like video. I've only watched about 20 minutes so far. Could be worth watching for those that dont know the REAL reason as to why we are having this Financial Crisis...

Whoa, whoa...

NOT like Zeitgeist, though some of the material from the banking section is similar.

I hope people do watch the movie. The first 20 minutes is just some guy shaking his finger telling us about the Federal Reserve... Good info, but the rest is an extremely interesting, less annoying lesson on the history of banking throughout the ages.

Im about 30 minutes into it now, and Im starting to wonder about English history, and if there really was a real life Robin Hood, and if somewhere thru storytelling, a real Robin Hood would have stood against Central Banks...

I watched Money Masters - all 3.5 hours of it over several days. Very nice informative video about bankers, central banking, etc.

The host seemed hostile to the gold standard, though, saying that it is too easily amenable to centralized control. The conclusion is that we need to have government issued money (debt free) and 100% reserve banking. There is a proposal for legislation that would have a one year transition to these goals, while simultaneously issuing notes to pay down the debt, and by having the banks up their reserves concurrently so that the circulation of FRNs would dwindle, being replaced by govt notes instead, and avoiding inflation/deflation.

Definitely some interesting ideas and proposals, but quite fascinating history of banking over the past centuries.

It's also an interesting compilation of tying together presidential assasinations and attempts with presidential actions against the Fed. Starting with Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, Harding, Kennedy, who I am missing ? Has anyone seen a better expose on why these presidents were killed ?

I was just able to download a high quality torrent of it fairly quickly. 1.36 GB

I'll burn it on dvd tomorrow and watch this weekend.

The Money Masters is a good history of the Banks constant attempts to take control of our country since its beginning.

However, be careful, the producers believe that fiat currencies are good, as long as they are controlled by the government instead of the banks. They are openly opposed to Austrian economists.

Check out the Mises Institutes video, Money, Banking and the Federal Reserve:

for a sound money approach to the topic. Plus, it's only 41 minutes instead of 3 hours. :)

I watched almost 2 hours of the 3 1/2 length of this newest money masters. I liked it, VERY informative of our history re: $$$ and the Fed. I do believe in hard currency; however after watching the first 2 hours I do believe I agree with the narrator that a return to the gold standard might indeed be a mistake; simply because gold is not plentiful enough. I think silver or copper or some other pm with more existence in the world would be better. Or even a fiat currency made by congress and the treasury without Fed intervention would be better. Thoughts from someone who watched the entire 3 1/2 hours are welcomed......

ill try to finish watching another day; it is a long one but well worth spending the time to watch. much better than the zeisgeist addedum movie.....:)

I believe its raining silver for xmas :)
