What's the last thing you did offline to promote the campaign?

Handed out slimjims, circulated petitions, and signed up to be a delegate. I also just made another order of signs to help decorate my home town with.

I am not doing enough.

Mailed out hand-written letters to independent New Hampshire voters. Then, I verified my registration to make sure they got it right.

Called into a talk radio show TODAY and corrected the host when he claimed that Ron Paul wants to "dissolve our military" and "surrender to terrorism".

I pointed out that Ron Paul wants to use our military to fight and win Congressionally declared wars, not to police the world and get into nation building, both of which are NOT traditional Conservative positions, and that Ron Paul has received MORE DONATIONS from active duty military personel than any other candidate.

The host started talking about the threat from Iran and I pointed out that Iran has NO ABILITY to directly attack the United States and the best they can do is support suicide terrorist attacks.

At which point I was cut off.

Yesterday I distributed literature to 300 homes in my precinct. Talked with a few people. It's so nice to hear things like "Ron Paul? I've heard good things about him. I'll read this over!"

I called the 10 people in NH that I know to remind them to vote Tuesday. :)

I got an email today from my meetup leader. they are looking for precinct captains. i am seriously considering doing.

Yesterday, I had a Ron Paul sign inside a playoff game. I talked to a couple hundred people about Ron Paul.

I left a packet of No Tax On Tips slim-jims at Chili's last night with my (generous) tip.

I went to Michigan Yesterday to help with door to door canvassing and my groups is from Indiana.

made an rp sign and placed it on my porch..... If your not in the Ron Paul campaign and you try to get me to convert to another, it is my right to kick your ass for trying to alter my state of mind on my property.Have a good day. mwaahaahaahaaa

Here's the place to pat yourselves on the back folks. Let us know what you did TODAY for Ron Paul

Leave a copy of Llepards New york times article in an airpot :(

That is all I can do, I am in sweden

oh but I did some DVD's to pass out to friends in the US, also made my sister, brother and mother RP voters! and registered 1 of them (other 2 already where)

What can I do to help considering I am paranoid of talking to people in person and don't have any funds at the moment to spend on the campaign.

I have done almost all of my campaigning for Ron Paul via the internet and have inspired dozens of people into supporting Dr. Paul.

My question now is, I don't seem to have much of a pool of people left to reach online as the people I am networked with have already gotten word of Dr. Pauls messege.

My question now is, where do I go from here? I read this post and feel bad because I have not done anything other than the signing of a petition to get Ron Paul on my states ballot to help with the campaign.

My main issue is, I have a paranoia of talking to people in person. One of those people who can't look at someone when I am talking to them and do a much better job communicating with people via text.

I also have no money on hand right now as I have donated all of my extra money to the campaign.

So, where do I go from here? What can I do to help now?

Any advise is welcome.

put 8 Giant signs on an overpass over the Florida Turnpike

posted 20 RON PAUL signs on trees in front of a local college.

Have you joined a meetup group? Help make signs, help put slimjims on doors/cars, just participate in a sign waving.

My social network is essentially zero, I have my family, my work, and my commute. Even still I've gotten one co-worker interested enough to say she'll write letters to South Carolina, and I went way out of my comfort zone and signed up as a precinct captain.

Just think of this as a chance for doing some personal growth :)

Got together with a group of 10 people this weekend and we canvassed a precinct for one of our meet-up members. Quid pro quo - they're going to come help in my precinct.

Today? Um...just drove my car with a giant Ron Paul Revolution decal on the back to go get my morning coffee.

This should be a daily thread. Better yet -- make a whole new forum for it. Sticky each day to the top. Can a moderator make that happen please?

Called my friend on his way to the Iowa caucus and converted him to RP before he went inside.

I got an angry text message last night saying RON PAUL NOT INCLUDED IN NH FORUMS? WHY? Welcome to the revolution, lol. He teaches voice at a college in Iowa so he'll be getting out the message to many young people and other faculty.

Ways to help online:

1) Spread the word via forums that are not Ron Paul related. Ideas that come to mind are other political forums, financial forums, etc.

2) Go to your city's craigslit and see if they have a politics posting area. Post some news there on a daily basis. Today, definately I recommend posting the McCain 10,000 years youtube video. People need to see this.

3) Check out other meetup groups in your city, and join the ones in which you have an interest. Another good one is the newcomers meet-up, if there's one in your town. These are people looking for ways to get involved in their new community. Ron Paul folks are fun and give them a way to meet like-minded people. Put in a plug occassionally for your meet-up events. The march on MLK day is a great one because it's a holiday.

Any one else have other ideas? I'm of the opinion that there is still a lot the shy people can do online, in addition to offline door-to-door canassing.

Ways to help offline:

But also -- shy people -- you've got to get out of your box. I went canvassing for the first time and it really wasn't difficult. Use this script:

Hi, my name is ________ and I'm supporting Ron Paul for President in the upcoming elections. Have you made a decision yet who you're going to support or are you still looking for information to help you make a decision?

This helps you immediately identify people who are supporting other candidates so you don't waste your time with them. Just move on. There are a lot of people who are still undecided and want information. The message will sell itself. All you have to do is deliver it. Try it...sure there's some who are diehard McCain supporters that will say "I'm a big Obama fan" or "NOT Ron Paul" and that's fine. Thank them and move on to the next guy. We're just looking for Ron Paul supporters who might not know the political process and understand what they need to do to help get delegates. The goal is to find them and inform them. You'll probably never convert the McCain guy anyway.
