The Key to Sidestepping the Trap: Charlie Kirk’s Death Exposed the Biggest Scam in History

At some point we're going to make our own side, or we're going to lose.

I can agree with that

There may yet be some unidentified subset of this population that can be united toward a common cause.

Some people act like we're not having an effect, but because of Ron Paul they basically no longer have primaries. We change that, we make a third party work, or we lose.

We're always going to lose as long as we're playing by their rules of their game.

Gotta toss the board if you want to win.

Texas has been talking about secession since I was a kid, but seems to lack the balls. But that is the other best possibility. Hopefully when the Kansa-Osage and the Muscogee Creeks secedeTexas can man up enough to join them.

That's it. It's a hard sell, but "democracy" or not, that's what makes a revolution.

No, I get it. But, I'd wager that if you ask most people who think they're in a "50% good", they won't think they're talking about the "50% evil" - only the radicals on the other side that must be defeated. And that's where they spend most of their energy. Trying to make sure that the 30% on the other side don't fall into the radical trap. So, you kinda end up in the same place.

Hmm, I would say that that was the state of the political discussion in the US circa 20 years ago. Since then, it's morphed into the Idiocracy-style Professional-wrestling caricature of politics where the half of the country who are good guys have to "totally defeat" the other half of the country who are "literally Nazis", or else "this is the end of our Democracy". The terms are slightly different when phrased in MAGA-ese, but it's the same concept. We have allowed the public square to be idiotized. We do not recognize any concept of non-political authority or hierarchy in the public discussion (e.g. God, elders, religious leaders, etc.) so we just get a cacophany of screaming voices that devolve into a giant mob fist-fight. Pure democracy at its absolute worst. Just like the 1% pure-evil criminal psychopaths who actually run this country want. We have to start actively resisting THAT game-theory. And it starts by cooler heads on both sides pointing back to tradition and "fuddy-duddy" things like religion, culture, higher reason, and so on.

I know there are reasonable Democrats. I am related to some. But just as Chase explains, there has been a very systematic construction of left/right echo-chambers. Hell, I can watch it in real time on my YT feed. Every time there is some political event, my YT feed starts vomiting all this shit that TeH aLgOrItHm has decided that I'm supposed to believe. It's not "offering content" that I might be interested in, it's pushing content that it thinks should piss me off (etc.) because of the profile that it thinks I fit into. It's hilarious being typecast as a MAGA simply because I don't watch Leftist content. But that's the way of it. And that's also their blindspot/weakness... by projecting all of this push-propaganda onto everybody, they are blinding themselves. They can't even believe their own polls anymore, and they know it. They have no idea where they are on the map. Literally, Pigs In Space....
