I really do love this idea. Who would be interested in moving to New Hampshire to participate in this project? After the 2008 election I'll start seriously looking into the idea.

The next Liberty Forum will be January 3-6, 2008. Don't miss out!

I urge everyone to get involved with the Free State Project if we don't manage to get Ron elected, and hell, even if we do.

I'm all for it if you can figure a way to get Real Estate prices down such that most of America could afford to buy a home there.

I plan on attending the Liberty Forum January 3-6 and then staying the rest of the week to help campaign in New Hampshire.

My wife and I are also pledged to be part of the first 1000 movers and will permanently relocate to New Hampsire by the end of 2008. Concentrated activism works!

Someone post the videos of activism...Russell Kanning at the tax office and the guy arguing with the cop for his open carry rights.

I signed up for the FSP. Though that was before meeting my fiance whom I will soon be marrying who was born and raised in the south and couldn't imagine living up in the cold.

I think I could convince her eventually though. I told her some of the good things about NH being the most freedom loving state while we were drunk one day and she said "Why don't we move there then?".

I think the best thing to do will buy a summer cabin up there first.

FSP is truly the only hope for liberty in our lifetime though.

New Hampshire has the second lowest ratio of cops per capita and, not coincidentally, one of the lowest crime rates.

Does anyone have more information about the FSP? Videos?

Here's some activist ones:

Lauren Canario from Las Vegas moved to New Hampshire to help protest the New London CT eminent domain seizure that turned people's houses over to private developers. New London won in the Supreme Court.

Carrying a firearm openly (in plain view) is entirely legal in New Hampshire and does not require a permit. Sometimes the cops harrass you anyway, so here's Dave Ridley and Russell Kanning giving them a headache and standing up for their rights.

Russell Kanning arrested for trying to enter an IRS office. He was going to give the employees a flyer asking them to quit. This is a public government office that any citizen can enter.

Ridley Report has a bunch more.

I'll try to find some more FSP oriented ones, but this is some of the stuff that the early movers are doing to fight for liberty.

I also urge people to consider the Free State Project as well. If the Ron Paul camapaign doesn't go well, this is a very viable alternative and you'll find New Hampshire a wonderful place to live.

or hey, free staters could just, you know, move to new hampshire now and vote for Ron Paul in the primaries! Or do you have to re-register to vote, and since the deadline was oct 12, itd be futile/useless?

As shown in one of the videos. The free state project has a hotline that you can call if something happens. I.E the police are being unruly. It will record your voice and send an alert to the rest of the free staters.
