We ended up getting Romney when everyone was like "Anyone but Romney". I have little hope for the Republican optoisn the next four years. Rand will be a solid option, but only if the media allows him to be, which is unlikely. I agree with the sentiment, but even the "conservative" talking heads on the news shows admitted they lost because Romney was a NE liberal Republican that didn't fire up the base. They know (in some ways) why they lost.
