The death of the Republic - which way will it go?

The American Republic is going to die. It is inevitable. It has been past the point of no return for a long time. There is no saving it. That much should now be clear.



The question remains whether it will be swift, or a long and slow decline? And which would be a better way for it to end? Which ending will be least painful?

I think of my illusion of what happened to Jesus and his trials and tribulations. The good will be rewarded in some obscure way in the future in a different world. The first last the last first....
All I know is I am glad I have a terminal illness and am not long for this world. I am glad I lived when I did and not just emerging into this hell on earth.
