"Thank You Ron Paul for Your Debate Performance" Moneybomb

I'll try to keep this short. I've been hanging in the chat room here and watching the debate. I and many others are extremely happy with the way RP has changed up his tone a bit and his overall performance.

Let's thank him with a spontaneous, mini-moneybomb (or a huge one..) to show our gratitude for tonight's performance and his efforts over the years to fight for our liberty!

Hopefully we can get a snowball rolling and bring in a decent amount of cash the campaign needs to fight the media bias (this term is putting it lightly) and win votes. (Edit: see the email the campaign sent out tonight in my post below... This is vital!).

Anything helps. Even $5. Personally, I love seeing small donations.

I honestly didn't think this idea through much at all, but I'm banking on RP supporters to be smart enough to get the point..

His performance tonight made me want to donate to him, so I just tailored the moneybomb idea around that with the chance others agreed. Tonight, I saw a Ron Paul who was taking our advice on his debate flaws (we love you Dr. Paul!), being more aggressive, boasting a bit, and just plain ol' fighting for our liberty. In a way, I look at my donation tonight as a payment to Dr. Paul for working so hard for me and our country--with the added benefit of him becoming our 45th President. My friends in chat were saying things like: "Look at him. You can see the fight in his eyes." ..... and you know what? I saw it. It's there.... clear as day (it's not that I never thought he wasn't before but he's taking it to a whole new level and now we need to do the same!!) Thank you Dr. Paul!

This thread was started late at night on a week-day. Hopefully the sentiments extend over to tomorrow and we push the campaign passed the $2 million mark (or $10 million, for that matter).

I can't even really afford this, but I just donated:

Thank you!

Thank you for your generous donation!

Thanks everyone! We can win this, but the campaign needs cash to run ads. The media is against us, but we can reach voters with advertising; effective advertising costs a lot of money. If we want this win we need to step up our fundraising. I don't use other websites, so it would help if others can try to spread this idea around the internetzzz.

Post your donations here..

EDIT: Here is an email sent out by the campaign tonight:

"Tonight’s South Carolina debate in Charleston was a home run for my campaign!

This is exactly the shot of momentum my campaign needed – and it showed every voter I’m the only candidate who’s serious about cutting spending and getting our economy moving.

But with just one day until South Carolinians go to the polls, I’m hoping I can count on you for an IMMEDIATE contribution.

The truth is, South Carolina is critical.

And every dollar you can give right now will translate into more calls, more TV and internet ads, and more email.

The good news is, things are moving in the right direction here on the ground in South Carolina.

Tomorrow, I’m crisscrossing the state with six campaign stops.

But I want to pull out ALL the stops. And for that, I need to count on your help.

My debate performance tonight is already turning heads.

What the crowd saw tonight was my opponents savaging each other over and over in a desperate attempt to defend their Big Government records.

Me? I wasn’t touched once. Because quite frankly, I can’t be.

I’ve spent 30 years fighting against establishment politicians – like my opponents – to finally put an END to politics as usual.

Instead of Big Government, I want limited government.

Instead of fighting to increase government involvement in health care and the economy, I’ve fought to get government out of the way.

Instead of flip-flopping on core conservative issues like the Second Amendment and the Right to Life, I’ve stood strong for them.

Instead of ramping up spending and undermining our constitutional principles, I’ve fought for lower spending, sound money, and the Constitution.

But with time running out, I need to count on your help.

Please contribute every dollar you possibly can right now.

Together, we can Restore America Now."
