Nannette who painted her whole house Ron Paul.. in the sleepy little town of Magnolia has received a notice from her Mortgage company, not the Home Owners Association but the actual mortgage company. Her house will be foreclosed on if she does not have her house repainted by March 17th. It seems the Mortgage company does not like the paint colors?

This is a beautiful paint job, well done and artistic.. It is really a work of art not a eyesore. I don't have any idea if the Company can really Foreclose within just 2 weeks or not but just the threat is enough to cause a lot of worry, especially when your mortgage payments are up to date.

I would hope all of you would make a call today or Monday to this company and let them know you know of their actions. Just think of the problems it could cause them to have all their customers learn how their own mortgages could be called in if they offended the powers that be? The name is:

White Oak Developers, Conroe, Texas, Phone William Dark 281-367-1194

Haven't checked out all the details yet, but we might need to send that mortgage company our love.

Phone Bomb. Email Bomb.

That lady has every right to paint her house however she wants. As long as the mortgage company gets their payments I don't see why they should care how she chooses to paint her home. I hope she gets a lawyer and sues their asses.

Just found this very positive write up of the house in their local paper from when it was painted. Doesn't seem like anyone was bothered but the bankers.

Magnolia family’s ‘Ron Paul House Painting Party’ posted to Web

The home of Nannette Carley and Ramzi Boulos of Magnolia has become somewhat of a local phenomenon since mid-January, when the two had the house at 28903 Portsoy painted.

U.S. Congressman and presidential hopeful Ron Paul is the subject of murals painted on this Magnolia home.

Images on all four sides of the house depict Texas Dist. 14 U.S. Congressman Ron Paul, Republican and presidential hopeful, as well as the symbols for “No NAU” and “No TTC,” along with the state and nation’s patriotic symbols, such as the flags and bald eagle.

“We get honks and waives with people yelling out ‘Ron Paul Rocks!’” said Carley.

Helping to paint the images were more than 60 Paul supporters and several of Carley and Boulos’ friends, family and neighbors.

The home was completely painted with recycled paint provided by Billy Kindly. Mural artist and Paul supporter C.W. Burwell drew the images, and videographer Greg Johnson filmed the event.

Now widely known as “The Ron Paul House Painting Party,” the video as been posted to Youtube.com.

Carley and Boulos volunteered their home for the project because of what they say is a passionate support of their candidate.

Paul is the only presidential candidate from Texas, Carley said, but more than that, she believes he is the only candidate with voting integrity.

“Ron Paul supporters are very active,” Carley said. “For someone who thought there were no good candidates left, it makes me feel better to know that there is at least one.”

Boulos and Carley have lived in the Magnolia area for two years. They came from east Houston following Hurricane Rita as evacuees.

“We love the people of Magnolia and Tomball,” Carley said. “When we moved here people were so helpful. It’s not like that in the big city.”

Some please contact this paper and the witter of this story and let them know about this!
I am sure they would do a story on the mortgage letter!

Also, this story is very unique. I am emailing the major networks, FOX, CNN, and MSNBC. Maybe we can get this on national news.

I've worked in the mortgage business for a few years. I have NEVER heard of anything similar, and I've heard a LOT. Unbelievable.

Absolutely I would not call, this is a private contract dispute, and apparently she agreed to terms with this mortgage holder and now seeks to breach her contract. Anyone claiming to work for a mortgage company or in real estate that has not heard to this is either deaf or lying.. it is very common. WWRPD! Haven't we listened to him enough to know how important private contracts are? Next we will be calling for Government to step in and offer her a buyout program.. *sheesH*

Why any free loving individuals such as RP supporters would makes calls on behalf of a private property issue would be beyond me. It's there choice, but I don't see why anyone would want to support someone breaking a contract, at least not an RP supporter. Socialists might, try posting on a Nader or Kucinch or Obama website.

The paint job is certainly nice though, and now she needs to obey her contract, or face the consequences.

I've never heard of a mortgage clause that states how you can paint your house, or in this case her trailer which makes it seem even less likely.
The only reason my mortgage company can take my house is for non-payment to them or on my property taxes, or for not having proper insurance.
There is no 'paint job' clause.

Show me where in her contract it specifically says that she's not allowed to paint her house, and you have a point.

I doubt that exists in her contract, though. This sounds like a threat b/c they don't like this. Look, no one here is asking government to step in and rescue anyone... just that private citizens can help each other out if someone is getting bullied.

Are they allowed to put signs in the front yard? Put a real big one!

Drop the sign that was on the blimp over it and say it's being fumigated!

Put up a "wall" in front, plywood, and happen to paint the "wall" the way you want!

Wow! Pretty much every mortgage addresses it, I suggest you pull out your mortgage and note and read up! Why do you think they are foreclosing, just to be mean? or to attack Ron Paul? Sometime, we need to remember that freedom comes with some hardships, if you give a mortgage on your property, then you are bound to keep your word... she was free to not buy the property or to not refi, or to modify the mortgage (granted this isn't likely)

Unless that is in the contract, it would seem to be something that the ACLU could deal with.

Even if it is a contract issue why should we not get involved?

There is nothing socialist about complaining to a private company when they are doing something you find wrong.

If I have a contract with my employer I am allowed to complain about it and others can also complain on my behalf. Sure, they can still fire me.
In the United States consumers should hold companies liable, not the government, and that is exactly what we are doing...
And the property owner has a right to sue for any reason always.

I don't understand this socialist logic at all...we are not trying to make a law that says companies can not do this we are just letting one know we think it sucks.

These mortgage companies are probably looking for any reason to foreclose on the house... they make more money that way, keeping the capital already paid back and keeping the house! This is just another tentacle of the international banking empire built to deplete the population of their wealth, and as far as I'm concerned THE GLOVES ARE OFF with these guys, contract or no. I will definitely be pranking them today.
