So, I noticed the new sub-forum. I haven't been keeping up. Who's Karen Kwiatkowski?
 
She's running for a congressional seat in Virginia against an incumbent Republican. She's awesome. Check out her archives on Lew Rockwell.

I'm also interested as well, have looked at her site a bit, but what are her chances in going in a head to head primary against an incumbent?

Any polls? How is she doing in fundraising, campaigning, etc...?

I need more input!

Supposedly she has a strong volunteer base, but goodlatte has got the money.

Check out the interviews in my signature, or the campaign website and the LewRockwell link from Occams Banana. I think she's worth the support, especially because she has reached out to the Ron Paul grassroots on so many occasions. Just off my head, she was at the Veterans for RP march in DC, the End the Fed rally in Philly. She even hangs out in RPF chat to answer questions.

Well to get donations rolling in, we need more information. When is this primary? June? Does she have ads running, or what?

I want to help out as many liberty candidates as I can, but I need to know which have the best chances to win.
 
Think 4 parts Ron Paul and 1 part Alex Jones in the form of a woman. Maybe toss in the irreverent guts of a Cynthia McKinney. High level military intelligence background. Whistle blower on Iraq lies. Also a class act. Awesome.

I donated to Karen on principle. And so that her message is heard as loudly as possible. I wanted to reward a candidate who has a stated near verbatim Ron Paul platform. Few candidates seem to spell out a platform that is 100% Ron Paul Revolution (even Justin Amash makes no mention of the Federal Reserve on his issues link at his website, for example).

Primary is June 12th.

Not sure about the ads. She may have mentioned something in the radio interview in my signature.

There have been both radio and print ads. She's also speaking to any and every group she can. She put up her events calendar in mid-April so you won't see anything older than that, but check out her scheduled appearances: http://karenkforcongress.com/events/2012-04

And there are often several appearances a week that don't end up on the calendar.

Someone who should be elected to Congress. Es evidenced by Lugar's defeat yesterday, even seasoned incumbents can lose in their own primaries.

She's got the ideological purity of Ron Paul and a track record at LRC and elsewhere to prove it.
That bumps her ahead of most candidates on here IMO.
 
2016 and 2020 loom! the GOP is at a transitional
generational crossroads. two terms in the house
and she could be very prominent and pertinently
on top of the debt crisis that will not go away!!!
i want her to win so bad due to what she may do!
we need people like karen kwiatkowski + our gunny
let alone thomas massie in the house of reps totally!

Democrats hate the incumbent. First chance in 20 years democrats can beat incumbent Goodlatte (first republican primary). Karen is the anti-goodlatte vote.

Estimated votes needed to win June 12 primary: 20-30k (<3%)

It's completely a GOTV boots on the ground game.

Current incumbent strategy: Ignore primary (Which means no GOTV!), show face more frequently in district.

No major polling that I'm aware of has been done. She is highly favored among straw polls conducted by local tea-parties, political activist groups etc.

My personal opinion is it's one of the best candidates/chances we the liberty movement have. It is also possible IF the larger RP movement would rally around her.

A handful of jobless/mobile/hardworking activists could push it over. We could also utilize any hands from the larger RP movement willing to work from a distance (phone-from-home etc)
