I went at 9 this morning with a friend. Polling place was deserted, but it usually is...

Post any relevant experiences at the polls in this thread and let us know who you voted for. :p

:D

My wife and I voted for RP in the east SF bay. Arrived at 8:15 am and the polling place was nearly empty. We were ballots #63 and #64.

1 for Paul. My wife is coming of work soon and will drive directly to the voting place for #2.

20 signs out this AM @ 14 of the busiest polls, 10 more to keep the opposition signs company, VOTED a few minutes ago, making calls to the elderly now, in case they don't want to drive in the weather, soon off to park my RPMobile, (and myself) at the busiest poll (5 precincts).

busy busy

:D

2 votes here and the other loud Ron Paul supporter in town is sitting near the polling place. We walked 6 miles on a busy road with signs. I hope the honks and thumbs ups will translate to votes

Voted this morning.

I was number 21. My husband will vote this evening after he gets off of work.

It felt fantastic to finally be able to vote for a candidate whom I admire.
It was empowering and liberating!

Edited to add: I am in California and even though my polling place is only a block away, I drove so that my bumper sticker ridden truck would do a little last minute campaigning for me!

Voted a couple hours ago. When the poll worker searched for my name in the book of registered voters, I saw Dem after Dem after Dem.

I know Paul has no chance here in NY, but it was still very satisfying to turn that knob and pull the lever. And my vote is recorded on my cell phone. Now I need to get me a, "Don't blame me, I voted for Ron Paul" shirt.

Voted in Lexington MA, precinct 9. My wife voted for Romney (she can't stand McCain and thinks RP has no chance), while my father in law, who we wheeled in, voted for Hillary (old democrat, retired teacher). I planted several Ron Paul signs around the access roads, high up so they won't get taken down right away. There was a fair number of older folks voting. Didn't see any Ron Paul supporters or signs. From driving around the town last couple weeks, I may be the lone Ron Paul supporter in the birthplace of the first American Revolution.

I thought the same as you! I just voted in Concord, MA (where the shot heard 'round the world was fired from) and I've seen just one other RP sign in the entire town besides ours. We planted a sign outside the polling station however, making sure it was much higher and more visible than the surrounding Hillary and Romney ones (thank my very tall husband for that)

The best part is that today I voted for the first time in my life, and I was able to do so for a candidate I fully support and am proud to be affiliated with. I will never ever feel that I wasted my vote, no matter what the outcome is! :D

Me and my son just voted for Ron Paul and my other daughter and husband will vote after work. Not many people at the polls when I went.

3 votes in Iron County, Missouri. My parents both voted for Paul because they don't like McCain, Romney or Huckabee. My dad is a hardcore Evangelical Christian Conservative and used to be a big supporter of Huckabee, so that's pretty significant, even if it was motivated more by dislike of the others.
