Here's a copy of the letter that I recently sent out to not only Ron Paul but the other candidates as well.
Of course, since I sent it out one or two candidates have dropped out of the race for nomination, Cain and someone else I think. It is quite long, but pick out what seems to be useful and I would like to see RP consider it in his campaign:

Dear GOP Presidential primary candidate:
I am sending this letter to all GOP candidates seeking nomination to run for US President next year.
I want to you to tell me why I should support you and why I should vote for you if you are nominated to run for US President in 2012.
Please understand-you are, or will be if you are elected, working for me and over 310 million other Americans. I can’t speak for all other Americans, but speaking for myself and on behalf of many who believe as I do, specifically, I would like to get your support for at least the following 3 issues in your campaign and beyond:
1) The Pickens Plan (authored by T. Boone Pickens) to get the US off of our dependency on foreign oil and to instead use America’s own natural gas for our transportation needs. To do this we need to pass the Nat Gas Act, which is a bill currently in Congress I believe. See www.pickensplan.com for details.
2) The FairTax. www.fairtax.org for details. This is being promoted as a replacement of the current very unfair and very burdensome IRS and its more than 67,000 pages of tax laws. We need the FairTax to boost the economy and create jobs, bringing jobs back into this country that have been sent overseas for one reason because employers seek to avoid paying Federal Insurance Contributions Act payments for their employees. Here’s the link to the recent (11/17/11) hearing about the FairTax before the Joint Economic Committee: http://tinyurl.com/8yql4zz Well worth watching, it’s a video about 97 minutes long. The picture starts about 20 minutes into it and the sound about 24 minutes into it.
3) Last but far from least: I, along with millions of other Americans want to reduce the US National Debt which, the last time I checked, stands at over $15 trillion-about $49,000 per person living in the US. And you can help me to do that by helping me to implement my ideas about reducing the debt. This will probably involve the Bureau of Public Debt. It will not involve any tax increases and probably no spending cuts. It will involve the Internet. I assure you that if you are in a position to and will help me to implement this debt reduction I will support your campaign financially and otherwise.
Very simply, the first one of you who agrees to support all three of the above will get my support and my vote, as well as that of a lot of other Americans who are supporting these issues also.
